Leigh > August 24, 2008 - Seattle, WA - And like that, another Seattle summer passes us by.

Leigh > August 23, 2008 - Seattle, WA - Alec Walbrun - growing cuter by the day. Our great friends Rob and Lindsay gave us our first baby gift this evening, which was really special. Thanks Rob and Lindsay for being such great friends, and for all the great advice.

Leigh > August 22, 2008 - Woodinville, WA - Up close and personal with the Gypsy Kings at the Chateau St. Michelle winery. Perfect weather for an outdoor concert, and this band sounded better live than we've ever heard them on a recording. (Taken from my iPhone)

Leigh > August 21, 2008 - Seattle, WA (Downtown) - I shot this quickly as I was waiting at a traffic light on my way home. The Seattle Public Library provides a very metallic contrast in front of another building. I thought it was a pretty neat viewpoint.

Leigh > August 19, 2008 - I designed and wrote this ad, which appeared in this month's InformationWeek magazine. I just picked up a copy today. Since we do so much online work, it's rare (and cool) to see the result in a printed and bound form.

Leigh > August 18, 2008 - Seattle, WA - Big or small, airplanes really never cease to amaze me.

Leigh > August 17, 2008 - Gig Harbor, WA - A relaxing afternoon out by the water.

Leigh > August 16, 2008 - Vashon Island, WA - Clau and I took an early ferry over to Vashon Island to wander around and go to the beach. The town has a neat little farmers market every Saturday and Sunday, with lots of fresh apples and veggies. One of the vendors was selling these amazing lilies, which were grown in her own garden.

Leigh > August 15, 2008 - Seattle, WA - In the South Lake Union area for some German food and beer (Pepsi for Clau) we notice our seats at the bar are a good backdrop for a picture of the two of us. (Taken from my iPhone)

Leigh > August 13, 2008 - Seattle, WA (Lake Union) - I handed my camera to good friend and colleague Andy Wilson while we were waiting to take an evening sail with a group of colleagues. He snapped this palatial craft leaving the Wooden Boat Center. The thing was so small you couldn't even refer to it as a dingy. It was barely an "ingy".

Leigh > August 14, 2008 - Seattle, WA - About a block down from our house is an outdoor art display that really catches your eye. These little "Wall-E" type creatures are spread all over the place, and move at their own whim. Moving, then stopping, then moving - all independently of the other. Not sure what the artist was going for, but they sure are fun to watch. (Taken from my iPhone)

Leigh > 08/08/08 - Seattle, WA - Today, two images. The other one speaks for itself. This one I had to take because of the date and time.

08/08/08 @ 08:08am. I could have missed the shot, and it probably would have been no big deal. But now I'll never have to look back and say I should have taken it. I did take it, and here it is. A lesson in life, as well as photography, I guess.

This is the view from our apartment on what turned out to be a really nice summer day.

Leigh > August 12, 2008 - Seattle, WA - Seattle waterfront facing the Seattle Outdoor Art Museum after a dinner with our angel investor group. Not the best iPhone photo, but a nice view.

Leigh > August 11, 2008 - Seattle, WA - Today we got to hear the pitter patter of a little heartbeat.

The machine our Dr. brought in was pretty cool. Looks like a mini bullhorn. He presses it against Clau's tummy, turns up the volume, and there it is. Racing like crazy.

We're past the first trimester. A big sigh of relief.
