July 1, 2008 - Bank Robbery and Shooting in Downtown Seattle. A couple of idiots robbed a bank in West Seattle and decided to take the chase into downtown, passing right in front of our building at one point. The driver and suspect, armed apparently with a pellet gun, was treated to the gunfire of about four police officers after a standoff a couple blocks from our building. This is the view from our bedroom window as it was in progress.
