Leigh > August 21, 2008 - Seattle, WA (Downtown) - I shot this quickly as I was waiting at a traffic light on my way home. The Seattle Public Library provides a very metallic contrast in front of another building. I thought it was a pretty neat viewpoint.
Leigh > June 18, 2008 - Seattle, Washington - View from our home.

We have some really cool architectural elements right out our windows. Across the street is the Rainier Tower, a very interesting building that is about 50% the diameter on the bottom as it is on the top. Several other "old Seattle" buildings are within an eye shot, and create a unique blend of old and new. Because the artificial light from the Rainier tower points down, not up, it lights the rest of the terrace and trees around, creating an almost three dimensional look. Sometimes, Clau and I just sit in the window and look out - it never gets old. That is, of course, unless it is raining.
